The Circle of Serbian Sisters, known in Serbian as Kolo Sestara, carry the name Carica Milica (after the wife of the Holy Prince Lazar). They are a crucial part of Lazarica’s vibrant community. Every Sunday, they prepare a selection of sweet and savoury pastries and hot drinks to serve in St Lazar’s Hall after the church service. They also prepare banquet meals for special church events, weddings and funerals.
We always welcome new volunteers. If you would like to register your interest to join the Serbian Sisters, please speak to the chair, Bojana Tomić, who is in St Lazar’s Hall on most Sundays.
